Breitling’s SuperOcean is technichal, sustainable and comes in a range of vibrant colors.
In the 1960’s, scuba diving was the latest fashion. For divers, timing is everything. Breitling’s purpose was to create a watch with maximum readability for divers. To reach that goal, Breitling eliminated all superfluous elements, what resulted in the SuperOcean Slow Motion. Clean lines, chunky indexes with Super-LumiNova®, everything with maximum readability.
The new SuperOcean has the design codes of the Slow Motion, with some modern accents. A bezel with ceramic inlay and bright dials and a waterresistance of 300 meters (1000 ft). The bronze models have a special alloy with a higher resistance to corrosion that in time will develop a subtle patine.
There are two strap options: Rubber and stainless steel. Both straps come with a very comfortable folding clasp with micro-adjustment which makes it possible to wear it over a wetsuit. For safety, most models have an uni-directional bezel, and the 46 mm models have a special lock to fix the bezel.
The SuperOcean is no longer only a dive-watch. The newest collection is very versatile. Surf with it, swim with it, hit the beach bar with it, then wear it out to dinner. The Superocean perfectly balances the nostalgia of its heritage with a fresh new look.
