The 1960s was a period of experimentation, fun, freedom and energy. Whether you went cruising on your motorbike or were revving up your sportscar, life was lived at full speed and was the order of the day. Willy Breitling felt this change and set out to design an unconventional chronograph that breathed the lifestyle of this time. This resulted in the Breitling Top Time.
The tradition continues today with Breitling’s partnership with some of the coolest brands in wheels. Together they created the Top Time designs.
The Ford Thunderbird was first presented in 1954 at the Detroit auto show. It was a fun car to drive, and the convertible made its presence felt with its luxurious design, solid build and the dramatic tail fin.
The Top Time B01 Ford Thunderbird features the colors and emblem of its classic-car counterpart as well as a perforated leather racing strap, speed-measuring tachymeter scale and a contrasting “squircle” (not quite square, not quite round) subdials that give the feel of vintage dashboard gauges.
